Bernard Agorsor is an award-winning photographer, cinematographer, and film educator working in narrative film, documentary, and institutional media. He focuses on character-driven stories and visual work that feels natural, intentional, and grounded. Born and raised in Ghana, Bernard’s perspective is shaped by close observation of people, culture, and everyday life. His approach to cinematography favors natural and motivated light, simple compositions, and controlled camera movement, allowing story and performance to take precedence over visual excess. He has worked as Director of Photography on a range of narrative and documentary projects exploring identity, faith, leadership, and cultural memory. He has also shot music videos and commercials. Bernard values collaboration on set and approaches filmmaking as a practical, disciplined craft rather than a stylistic exercise. In addition to his production work, Bernard is committed to mentorship. He has taught and guided many emerging creatives across multiple countries through online and in-person workshops, helping them develop strong technical foundations and a thoughtful approach to visual storytelling.
